Celebrating diversity
Arraial Lisboa Pride 🏳️🌈 takes place once a year, for 10 hours. 10 hours of celebration, learning, advocacy, music, and socializing. For many Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, and Intersex (LGBTI+) people, these are the only 10 hours of the year in which they can love and express their identity publicly and in complete freedom. Without any fears. Open to everyone, the event is produced annually by ILGA Portugal with the support of the Lisbon City Council and EGEAC.
The mark of change
From the joint work between ILGA Portugal and Ködö emerged a new identity and concept for the Arraial Lisboa Pride brand, which from now on will have a common identity and strength for the coming years, in a vision that combines all ILGA Portugal's values and represents the many struggles of the LGBTI+ community over the years.
From color to symbolism
These elements come to life, representing the various areas and purposes of the event: associative, political, community, artistic, festive, space aggregation, and daily socializing moments for LGBTI+ people. The goal is to create a visual uniformity for all editions of Arraial Lisboa Pride, allowing it to become more easily recognized nationally, while genuinely representing the diversity of the population and the urgency of creating safe spaces, dialogue, and freedom for LGBTI+ people in all areas of their lives.
From the logo, three elemental symbols emerge, marking the division between activities: the triangle related to musical activities and performances, the square related to associative activities, and the circle related to all food and drink vending locations.
